            The Best Women’s Soccer Team in the World Fights for Equal Pay

            Congrats to the USA Women's Soccer Team for their win against Chile yesterday!

            Did you know the USA Women's Soccer Team is the best in the world and has been for decades? They've won 3 of the 7 titles since the FIFA Women's World Cup was inaugurated in 1991 (including being favored to win this year!) and 4 of 6 gold medals since women's soccer became an Olympic sport in 1996.

            The men's team didn't even quality for the 2018 World Cup and hasn't won an Olympic medal in more than 100 years.
            Despite this, the women make less than half what the men make.

            This is why the women's team filed a lawsuit against the US Soccer Association on March 8th claiming “purposeful gender discrimination.”
